As promised, Motorola finally reviled the Kitkat update for its three most successful smartphones for the Indian customers. Today Motorola roll out Android Kitkat 4.4.4 update for its Moto X, G & E devices.

This new update will offers users an extra layer of security while browsing over internet and much more improvements are provided by the Motorola team.
Motorola promised of providing updates for its bestselling devices at the time of the launch of these devices. And when Google rolled out the Android updates for its Nexus Line ,Motorola confirmed that they will also provide the update for Moto X , G and E smartphones.
User will not have to pay anything for this charge other than the data connection charges that will be according to the particular carrier. User will have to download the update and then install it. As soon as the update becomes available for the device, user will get a notification about the update, otherwise user can update the his/her Moto device manually by following few steps given below.
Here's how Motorola users can upgrade their devices to Android 4.4.4 KitKat:
1. Select the Settings icon in the apps menu.
2. Select "About phone".
3. Select "System updates".
4. Select "Download". After the software is downloaded, select "Install".
5. After the software is installed, your phone will re-start automatically
