News | 5.7" Moto X Style launched in India, starting at Rs 29,999

Motorola launched their flagship of the year in Indian markets today via their online partner. The new Moto device is available via Flipkart on, Flipkart is their official online partners in India. This flagship is available in two variants- 16GB & 32 GB. and it comes in two colors - 'Black' and 'White & Champagne'.  Moto X Style will be available for pre-order on Flipkart from 14th Oct midnight.





Moto X Style Specifications

Moto X is Motorola's premium phone, this device is considered as an upgrade to their last year's Moto X2 (2014). Moto X Style has a 5.7" Quad-HD display with 1440x2560 pixels resolution,an IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. A Qualcomm Sanpdragon 808 chipset with a dual-core (1.8GHz Cortex -A57) or a quad-core (1.44GHz Cortex -A53) CPU. Moto X Style comes with two in-build storage options, 16Gb & 32Gb. Still, unlike other phones in the same range, you get an option to expand memory storage upto 128GB (Micro SD Card Support). The 3000mAh battery is expected to give you full day battery backup on moderate usage. This battery is non-removable though.

This new Motorola beast has a 21MP camera at back with phase-detection autofocus and dual LED flash. Motorola says its the best in class Camera. But considering camera history of Motorola devices everyone is skeptical over these remarks. It has 5MP selfie-camera (Secondary/ front facing).




It will run on near-to-stock version of Android Lollipop 5.1.1 OS. Motorola has promised to give upgrade of Android Marshmallow 6.0 launched recently. 

Moto X Style comes with two price tags for two different models. 16GB storage capacity model is at Rs 29999 and 32GB model is at 31999. Both are exclusively available on Flipkart.


Other Options in the same Range

Moto X Style is a promising device at Rs. 29999, but there are other notable flagship devices as well available at the similar price tags from different manufacturers. 

You could also look into OnePlus's latest flagship OnePlusTwo and LG manufactured Google's Nexus 5X. Both devices are upgraded from their previous versions, OnePlusTwo from OnePlusOne and Nexus 5X from Nexus 5. Both are fan favorite and still are in market!
