News | Moto Maxx gearing up for the Indian market via Flipkart

Motorola is back in Indian market after a successful run with their Moto E, G and X phones in last couple of years. The rumor of their next release started to roll in Indian market when Flipakart posted a teaser post on Twitter.

Motorola is highly likely to launch Moto Maxx in India via thier exclusive retail partner Flipkart. Flipkart posted a photo with Moto logo in the background and few words on a yellow plate. It says 'Turbocharged', 'accelerated performance,' and 'nylon fairing', hinting at the Moto Maxx.

Moto Maxx was launched in November last year, this phone features black ballistic nylon, Motorola's Turbocharge to give fast charging. Phone supports a massive 3900mAh battery, which can provide juice enough to run the device upto 48 hours at the most, claims Motorola.

Also its screen is protected with water-repellent nano-coating and Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

Moto Maxx sports a 5.2 inch QHD (1440x2560) Amoled display with 565ppi pixel density. It has 2.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 quad-core processor and Adreno 420 GPU. The phone has a 3GB RAM along with 64GB internal storage.

This phone is currently running on Android Kitkat 4.4.4, but soon will get the Lollipop update as Motorola has started to roll out Soak Tests of the Lollipop update in selected countries (Brazil and Mexico). Though it is not clear which version of Android it will sport but speculations are that it will come out with the latest Android Lollipop 5.0.


As it is just a teaser, they haven't disclosed the release date and also the price of the device. But we will get to hear about it soon. And I will notify you as soon as we get to know.
